Good things come to those who wait! Algerian youngster Dahou Djamel Nasreddine is the new Universal Boxing Organization™ All-Africa Super Lightweight champion, finally, after several opponent changes and postponements of his title shot.

On Saturday (4.20) at the DDC Keko Hall in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, “King Dahou” (20) impressively stopped local boxer Hamis Ajali in the second round in front of a very noisy and enthusiastic crowd at the compact venue, cheering on his opponent.

Both boxers started the fight aggressively and engaged in some heated exchanges. Both had their share of success in the first round, but the visitor fought like a man on a mission and in the second round he connected with some vicious punches that send Ajali crashing to the canvas.

Referee Omari Yazidu waved the fight off at 2:01 of the second round, and, having already captured the Algerian national title, “King Dahou” Djamel Nasreddine could celebrate winning his careers second professional championship in convincing fashion.
