Petranyi, who won the UBO title in January 2011
and has so far made one successful defense, lost
to Williams when he took a fight with the
Englishman on short notice in 2005, and now, seven
years later, he is very motivated to get even with
the man who famously destroyed the legendary Mike
Tyson in 2004.
“I am getting impatient. I am looking forward to
the day to arrive, looking forward to facing Danny
Williams in the ring again. It’s been a long time
since I have has such a tingling in my stomach”,
Petranyi, making the second defense of his title,
recently told Hungarian website monokli.com.
Petranyi says that he has seen their first
encounter many times on video, but that now he
only focus on the rematch and how to defeat
Williams on June 10. And he insists that he is
very well prepared: |

“I have worked very hard in the gym for the last
few months, and I feel that I am very ready. I
really want this fight, perhaps more than any
fight in my career.”
Both boxers claim that this, win or lose, will be
their final fight. Petranyi intends to concentrate
on his promotional company Profibox Promotions,
one of the leading outfits in Hungary and also the
promoter of the June 10 event, while Williams plan
to work as a certified bodyguard.
