Kiss fought a clever fight and controlled the
action with straight clean punches, while Olah
came forward, often with his head first, and
failed to connect with enough meaningful shots to
win many rounds. Olah was warned several times,
but continued to lead with his forehead and Kiss
suffered a serious cut as a consequence.
The fight was stopped in round seven due to the
injury, and went to the scorecards. The judges
scored the bout 68-64, 66-64 in favor or Kiss, and
a too close 66-66. With the victory Kiss Jr.
improves his record to 22-9-3 (6), while Olah
falls to a misleading 6-6-1 (3).
On the undercard, UBO Female World Super
Bantamweight Champion Renata Szebeldi won her
seventh straight bout and improved her record to
13-8 (7) when she stopped Gabriella Insberger of
Romania in the first round of a non-title fight.
