Postolo defeated Mohamed Asma from Niger by second
round technical knockout, and delighted the
fanatic boxing fans in attendance with his
power-punching and ring generalship.
With the victory Postolo improved his record to
13-0 (8), while Asma travels back to Niger with a
9-3-1 (8) professional ledger. The challenger was
simply outgunned by the defending champion.
The show was promoted by Mukadi Manda, and
presented in cooperation with the Democratic
Republic of Congo’s leading distributer of
consumer goods, Beltexco. UBO Supervisor was
Claude Kaninda.
A second All-Africa title fight originally
scheduled for this card, featuring UBO
International Champion Ilunga Dominique, was
recently postponed to May 28. Matamba Postolo will
also be back in action on this date.
