Deonte Walker retained the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Welterweight title in conclusive fashion on Saturday, July 12, at the Sioux City Convention Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Walker, who appeared to be on a seek and destroy mission, stopped Argentinian veteran Juan Manuel Witt in the second round.

The 24-year-old American knocked his foe down with a nasty body-shot in the first round, but Witt beat the count of referee Mark Nelson and made it through the round.

But in round two Walker went for the finish, and after two more knockdowns, also from body-shots, it was all over. Official time was 1:51.

Walker, who won the UBO title in January and was making his first defense, improved his record to 21-1 (20). Witt drops to 40-4-2 (31).

The fight was one of the featured bouts of a show promoted by 15th Round Promotions, broadcast live world wide by BXNG Pay-Per-View.
