Both boxers had promised to emerge victorious from
the bout, and it was clear that no love was lost
between them.
They both started aggressively and the first few
rounds were hard to score as only a few punches
seemed to separate the two.
As the rounds went by Ntambi started to take over
and, perhaps spurred on by the enthusiastic crowd,
looked fresher and more determined.
After twelve tough and high-paced rounds, the
local hero was deservedly awarded a unanimous
decision and the UBO World title belt.
