I would like to thank all the
promoters, managers, agents,
commissions, and most of all
boxers, we have worked with in
the year that went, and extend
my gratitude to our regional
representatives and various
coordinators who have done a
great job in 2010.
It is also important and
relevant to acknowledge the
support of boxing fans and
industry insiders from around
the world. More than 9000 people
are currently members of the
Universal Boxing Organization™
Facebook Group, which is quite
remarkable and very much
appreciated, and our number of
Twitter Followers is growing by
the day (If you haven’t joined
already, please do so!).
2011 is already shaping up to be
even better than 2010, and we
kick off the new year with a
top-class fight for the Female
World Lightweight title on
January 9 in Punta Del Este,
Uruguay between Cecilia
Comunales and Halana Dos Santos.
January will also bring the
first ever UBO title fight in
Tunisia, and we are proud of the
fact that we continue to offer
opportunities to boxers,
well-known as well as unknown,
and promoters, big as well as
small, all over the world.
The 2010 UBO Boxing Awards are
just around the corner and the
winners will be made public in
early January. Until then, happy
and safe Holidays to everybody
from all of us at the Universal
