UBO World Welterweight Champion Shahin Adygezalov (9-0, 7 KOs) from Russia is set to return to the ring this month in a tune-up bout, and will then reportedly make the first defense of his title before the end of the year.

His team informs that he will fight on October 20 in the United Kingdom against an opponent TBA, and will then announce his title-defense.

Former UBO Inter-Continental Super Middleweight Champion Anthony Dirrell (32-1-1, 24 KOs) will fight Avni Yildrim (21-1, 12 KOs) for the vacant WBC World title. No date of venue has yet been confirmed.

Former UBO World Super Featherweight Champion Muhammad Ridhwan (11-1, 8 KOs) from Singapore lost a challenge for the vacant IBO World title at Super Bantamweight on September 29, when Paulus Ambunda (27-2, 11 KOs) from Namibia edged him by split decision.

Rex Tso from Hong Kong, who held the UBO Asia-Pacific Super Flyweight title in 2012, is not retiring after all, he claims.

It was widely reported a while back that Tso (22-0, 13 KOs) had been forced to call it a day on his career due to an eye injury, but not long after he denied this and promised to return to the ring when injury free.

Late result: Indonesia´s UBO International Flyweight titlist Hamson Lemandau stayed busy with a non-title victory on August 4, stopping journeyman Frans Damur Palue in eight rounds. 24-year-old Lamandau is now 10-2-1 (7).
