Henao has
an unusual record: five draws in twelve bouts
(5-2-5, 4 KOs) is something you rarely see, and
several of those even bouts could, if not should,
have been decided in her favour.
Both her
losses also came in very close fights, a split
decision against Yenfifer Rodriguez in 2018 and a
majority decision against former WBA world
champion Chanttall Martinez earlier this year.
With a
little luck the statistics could easily have
looked much better, but, when the bell rings,
records will be irrelevant and it comes down to
who is the better fighter or who wants it the
most.
Monica
Henao believes that will be her, saying: “I will
do all I can to be victorious, and become UBO
world champion!”
Rios Boxing
presents Czarina “The Black Rose” McCoy vs Monica
“Intocable” Henao for the vacant UBO World Super
Lightweight title on December 17 in Coquimatlan,
Colima, Mexico.
