Gonzalez
(10-0, 5 KOs) also won the UBO Inter-Continental
title, as well as the UBO South America title,
in Ecuador, when he stopped Colombian Jose Luis
Prieto in five rounds last November in Manta.
Since
then he has stayed busy with a decision victory
over Tracey McGrouder on the undercard of
Gervonta Davis vs. Rolando Romero in May, at the
Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
In Quito,
Gonzalez will put the UBO Inter-Continental
title on the line against Peruvian Jesus “El
Rayo” Bravo, 20-8-1 (17), who as recent as this
past July challenged for the WBC Latino title,
coming up short against undefeated Jose Angel
Gabriel Rosa in Argentina.

For the
champion it will be a risky encounter against a
hard-hitting opponent who at twenty-seven, the
same age as Gonzalez, has repeatedly faced world
class opponents and done well against most of
them.
The fight
will serve as the main event of a show promoted by
Capital Box, and will be streamed live by
meet2go.com.
