UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

Dario “Spartan” Morello (19-1, 3 KOs) will attempt to win his second Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) title inside just over four months, on November 19 at the Testudo Arena in Cernusco sul Naviglio, Italy.

Back in July he captured the UBO International Middleweight title, stopping tough Dutchman Melvin Wassing in the fifth round.

Now the 29-year old, who is also a former Italian and WBO Global titlist, will go for the vacant UBO European Middleweight title, when he faces Georgian Giorgi Umekashvili, who brings a 8-2 (5) record.

This will be the second visit to Italy for Umekashvili (22), as he lost a ten round decision to Dario Socci last December in Pellezzano.

Morello is hoping that winning the UBO European crown can put him in line to challenge for the world title next year.

Morello vs. Umekashvili will be the main event of a show promoted by Testudo Boxe.
