UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

POSTPONED: NEW DATE JANUARY 14! Undefeated German prospects Tom Roestel and Mirko Koenig were supposed to fight this past May, with the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Youth world title on the line.

Unfortunately Roestel suffered an injury in training, and the fight was postponed. Now the 20-year-old from Kiel is healed, and the fight is back on.

On November 5, in Kiel, the two will collide for the vacant UBO Youth World Super Middleweight title, as part of a championship triple-header promoted by Rene Hildebrandt.

Roestel (5-0, 5 KOs) last boxed in July of last year when he won the UBF European Welterweight title. He has since outgrown a few divisions, and it remains to be seen if his power will follow him in his new weight class.

Koenig (3-0, 2 KOs), who has boxed as high as Light Heavyweight, has been waiting patiently for his opportunity to win his first professional title against Roestel, and will enter the fight believing in his chances.

Roestel vs. Koenig for the vacant UBO Youth World Super Middleweight title. Two young, hungry, undefeated up-and-comers.

Fireworks is guaranteed on November 5 in Kiel, Germany!
