Turning
pro two years and a bit earlier, the
French-based Belgian had not lost in seven
outings. But he had also only won four times.
4-0-3 (1)
was his record, having drawn in his first three
bouts before winning four straight. And he had
already won two eight round fights over the
distance, something rarely seen with boxers so
early in a career.
On June
13, 2015, he faced experienced Georgian George
Aduashvili (14-13-1, 6 KOs) for the UBO title in
his adopted home-town Lille, and hardly put a
foot wrong.
