Prior to winning the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Middleweight title, Mohamed El Achi had an unusual professional boxing record.

Turning pro two years and a bit earlier, the French-based Belgian had not lost in seven outings. But he had also only won four times.

4-0-3 (1) was his record, having drawn in his first three bouts before winning four straight. And he had already won two eight round fights over the distance, something rarely seen with boxers so early in a career.

On June 13, 2015, he faced experienced Georgian George Aduashvili (14-13-1, 6 KOs) for the UBO title in his adopted home-town Lille, and hardly put a foot wrong.

The local fan-favourite dominated from start to finish, landing almost at will and making the corner of Aduasvili retire their man before the start of round four.

El Achi went on to also win the IBF Mediterranean title twice, and challenge for WBC and WBO regional belts.

Still active today, at 33-years of age, he is currently 20-3-3 (6) and likely to be seen in more big fights soon.
