Abramishvili (27), from Gurjaani, Georgia, took
the shots well, and tried to retaliate but found
it more and more difficult to find significant
success in the middle rounds.
But,
perhaps sensing he needed a knockout to win,
Abramishvili finished the fight strongly and the
last two rounds were probably his best. Ryba
appeared uncomfortable at times, but was never in
any real trouble.
In the end
Ryba was deservedly declared the winner, as judges
Pavel Hynek and Radekl Linka both scored it 99-91,
while judge Bohumil Ruckschlos had it 98-92, all
in his favour.
The new UBO
East Europe Champion improved his professional
record to 9-9-1 (7). Abramishvili drops to 14-22-1
(4).
