Undefeated German Heavyweight Champion Riza Baydilli (7-0, 7 KOs) is finally set for a long-awaited shot at the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International title.

After many delays, it looks to be all systems go for Saturday May 14 at the Buergerhaus in his home-town Espelkamp.

The fight has been in the pipeline since before Covid-19 restrictions made things very difficult for promoters and boxers all over the world, but now all obstacles should be cleared for Baydilli´s big night.

Having won the German national title in 2019, Baydilli added the UBF European title in 2020. He didn't see any action in 2021, but returned with a routine victory this past March.

His opponent on March 14 will be fellow countryman Georgios Bitzenis (7-6, 3 KOs), who, after losing his first five pro fights, has gone 7-1 since to line up his first championship opportunity.

The fight will be one of the featured attractions on a show where some of Germany´s brightest talents gets an opportunity to shine on the undercard.
