When Boxing Office Sports Ltd. promotes at the Bokum Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana on March 7, the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) All-Africa Cruiserweight title will be contested in the main event.

Cameroonian puncher Lambert Fogoum, 5-1, (4) comes in from his base in Dubai to take on local veteran Stephen “Warrior” Abbey, 15-16 (11), a man far better than his mediocre record suggests.

30-year-old Fogoum will be fighting in Accra for the second time, having stopped another local in John Dugu in two rounds last March.

Since then he has scored stoppage victories in Dubai and India.

Teak-tough Abbey has been through an up-and-down career since turning pro in 2007. But he has shown good form of late, with two straight victories, most recently this past November.

In July of 2018 Abbey stopped former WBA Pan Africa Champion Emmanuel Danso (28-3) at the Bokum Boxing Arena, so he will be feeling right at home when he attempts to score another big win on March 7.
