Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Welterweight Champion Idd Pialari (24-3-1, 17 KOs) will defend his title on September 22 at the Travelers Lodge in his hometown of Bagamoyo, Tanzania.

The challenger will be compatriot Said Yazidu (36-14-1, 21 KOs), who has won seven of his last eight fights since losing a UBO world title-challenge to Djamel Dahou in 2014.

Pialari won the UBO All-Africa title in November of 2016, and added the World Boxing Federation All-Africa title only a month later.

In May of 2017 he retained the UBO title, before moving down to Super Lightweight two months later to claim the East & Central Africa crown.

The fight will headline a show promoted by Shariff Boxing Promotions.

UBO appointed officials will be Emmanuel Mlundwa (Supervisor), Anthony Ruta (Referee), Robert Kasiga, Agapeter Mnazareth and Ally Bakari Champion (Judges). Local Commission will be Tanzania Professional Boxing Regulatory Commission (TPBRC).
