Kali Jacobus is the new Universal Boxing
Organization World Super Middleweight
champion. The now former International
title-holder delivered an impressive
performance against Thailand´s Plaisakda
Singwancha on Saturday October 24, knocking
out the visitor already in the second round.
The event was a massive success for the
recently created World UBO Vanuatu
Committee, and 5000 partisan fans attended
the show at Parliament Park in Port Vila.
Jacobus is a huge star in Vanuatu, and his
first defence of the UBO world title is
already anticipated with great expectations.
With the victory Jacobus improved his
professional record to 13-3 with 10
knockouts. Singwancha is now 38-19 with 32
knockouts.
Promoter was Mr. Wesley Rasu, UBO supervisor
Mr. Reginald Leca.
The UBO
World championship belt was presented to
Jacobus by Vanuatu Minister of Youth &
Sports the honourable Mr. Masmas in company
of sponsors and members of the Vanuatu
government.
