UBO Intercontinental middleweight champion Francis Cheka
will defend his title against Ramil Nadirov of
Azerbaijan on May 30 at the Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga,
Tanzania.
This is now confirmed by UBO Africa Commissioner Mr.
Emmanuel Mlundwa.
Cheka, who won the title in March of last year by
stopping countryman Hassan Matumla in ten rounds, has a
record of 16-6-1 (10), and is a massive star in Tanzania
after defeating national hero Rashid Matumla in front of
more than 10.000 spectators early this year.
Nadirov brings a record of 9-5-1 (3), and is his
country’s national champion.
The fight will be promoted by Best Man Promotions, and
is expected to be a sell-out.
