In a clash of Italians, undefeated Diletta Cipollone takes on battle-tested Jessica Bellusci for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Bantamweight title on November 23 in Tivoli, not far from Rome.

Both women were accomplished amateurs before turning professional in 2022 and 2023 respectively, but while Cipollone entered the paid ranks first it is Bellusci who has the most pro experience.

Being the undefeated prospect, Cipollone (3-0, 1 KO) may be considered a slight favourite going in, but Bellusci (6-5, 2 KOs) has competed at a far higher level and proven herself.

While Cipollone has been quite inactive, Bellusci has been fighting regularly, and often in her opponents back-yard, including a decision loss to multiple-time world champion Jelena Mrdjenovich in Canada.

Billed as “Dancing In The Dark: Tivoli Boxing Night”, this is a very intriguing crossroads fight, and one that could go either way.

It headlines a show promoted by SS Lazio Pugilato in association with BAT Promotion, ASD Monte Verde Boxe and Boxe Anagni.
