In a venue packed with 1300 spectators,
Halasz improved his record to 28-15 (11), and
Visoka, only in his ninth fight but already in his
third title fight, dropped to 6-3 (4). The fight
was promoted by Profibox Promotion.
Having fought former or future world
champions such as Herbie Hide, Krzystof Wlodarczyk,
Firat Arslan and Mario Veit, and engaged in
numerous title fights since turning pro in 1999,
Halasz by far had more experience than his
opponent, and made good use of it from the start.
Visoka started optimistic, but soon had to
realize that the home man had an answer for his
aggressive attacks. Most of the aggressiveness was
gone from Visoa already in the second round, and
the lack of sufficient notice to prepare for a
title fight began to take its toll on the Balkan
boxer. |

From round three Visoka spit out his mouthpiece
numerous times to buy time, and Halasz connected
often with hard blows to body and head. In round
five referee Bela Florian had seen enough and
stopped the encounter, awarding Halasz the victory
on a technical knockout.
