The Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Middleweight title will be up for grabs November 21 on the beautiful Italian island of Ischia.

The vacant title will be contested between Matteo Gubinelli (8-1, 5 KOs), fighting out of Rome, and Omar Faruk (9-2, 8 KOs) from Bangladesh.

Gubinelli (28) turned professional in 2021, and has only lost to undefeated Polish prospect Milosz Grabowski, in Poland, on his way to what will be his first championship bout.

Also a pro since 2021 and taking part in his first title fight, 33-year-old Faruk, nicknamed “Silent Killer”, is boxing outside his native country for the first time, and is planning to make the most of the big opportunity.

This is a well-matched fight between two boxers looking to take their careers to the next level, and it looks like a genuine fifty-fifty pairing.

Gubinelli vs. Faruk for the vacant UBO International Super Middleweight title will serve as the main event of a show promoted by Societe Internationalle Events Nappoleone.
