On October 6 in Bangkok, Thailand, FCC Promotion will stage a clear frontrunner for Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Event of the Year honours, when they present five UBO title fights at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

Promoter and boxer Alessio Bisutti (7-0, 6 KOs), from Italy but based in Thailand, will face fellow undefeated former UBO titlist Gurkan Karagdag (7-0, 7 KOs) from Turkey for the vacant UBO Continental (Asia) Heavyweight title.

Bisutti, the reigning WBA Asia Heavyweight and WBC Asian Continental Bridgerweight champion, will stay busy with a fight in Pattaya on September 14, so will, if all goes well, be 8-0 when contesting the UBO title.

21-year-old Turkish twins Efe and Ege Konuk will be up against tough opponents from India when they fight for UBO International Lightweight and UBO Continental (Asia) Super Lightweight titles respectively.

Efe (9-0-1, 5 KOs) will take on Ram Singh (4-0-1, 3 KOs), while Ege (10-0, 5 KOs) will be in with Shivam (10-1, 5 KOs).

At Welterweight, world class Filipino southpaw Joepher Montano (18-5-2, 16 KOs) will try to add the vacant UBO Continental (Asia) title to his already extensive collection of belts.

El Gwapito” will square off with former WBC Asian Continental champion Shiva Thakran from India, who brings a fine 19-5-1 (10) record to the dance.

Finally, Dubai-based Italian Riccardo Rizzi (8-0, 3 KOs), boxing in Thailand for the third time, is pitted against Indian puncher Israr Usmani (7-3, 7 KOs) in a fight for the vacant UBO Continental (Asia) Super Welterweight crown.

For Rizzi (24) it is his first opportunity to win a professional title, while Usmani came up short in a challenge for the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) Middleweight title a couple of years ago.

This is without a doubt going to be one of the most spectacular nights of boxing in Bangkok this year, with a potential capacity crowd of 5000 fans watching from ringside.
