Dubai-based Frenchman Atangana is 6-0 (2) since
turning pro in April of last year. His first two
bouts took place in Dubai, but the upcoming UBO
title fight will be his fifth straight in
Pattaya.
While he has defeated a couple of respectable
foes in Suradet Chomkhamsri (5-1) and recent UBO
title-challenger Prachak Porkha (11-5),
Thailand-based Afghan Dawrani (10-4-1, 7 KOs) is
undoubtedly a level above.
Dawrani entered the paid ranks in 2019,
defeating 3-0 Abdulfatah Julaidan in Dubai.
After fights in Pakistan and Afghanistan, he
relocated to Thailand in 2022 where he has
gained a reputation as a tough and capable
fighter.
