UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

Arena Ring is bringing big-time professional boxing back to North Macedonia on July 20, with Garana Fight Night headlined by a potentially explosive Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) championship bout.

Undefeated Macedonian Mersim Zeqiri steps up his level of competition considerably, when he faces Venezuelan champion Gregorio Dominguez for the vacant UBO International Middleweight title.

Based in Switzerland, Zeqiri (5-0, 5 KOs) is less than a year into his professional career, and is returning to North Macedonia to fight for the first time since he made his paid debut there last July.

At 31 years of age he has little time to waste and is being fast-tracked into his first title fight against a highly dangerous opponent.

Dominguez (16-3, 16 KOs) also turned pro late, at 34 in 2019. But he is battle-tested and experienced, and has defeated some credible opponents.

In 2022 he won the Venezuelan national title, and has since retained it three times, so he knows what it takes to compete at a level Zeqiri has yet to fight at.

Both boxers have secured all their victories inside the distance, so chances are this is going to be another knockout.

Will the home-man pass his first big test, or will the wily veteran take the UBO title back to Venezuela? July 20 will bring the answer...
