Brandon Alexander, from Zanesville in Ohio, won his second Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) title on Saturday, June 8, in Medellin, Colombia.

Having won the UBO International title last March, he is now the UBO Inter-Continental Middleweight champion after stopping Colombian Wilson Lopez in the second round.

The two boxers started the fight cautiously, trying to feel each other out. But not long before the end of the first round, Alexander landed a sneaky body-shot which forced Lopez to take a knee.

Lopez beat the count of referee Daniel Segura and made it to the bell, but when Alexander came out fast and determined for round two, and quickly landed another hard shot to the body, Lopez went down again and the fight was waved off.

This was Alexander´s fourth straight victory since coming back from a four-year hiatus in 2023, improving his professional record to 8-0 (6).

Lopez, coming off two victories since losing to another American in Danny Rosenberger this past January, falls to 6-2 (5).

The fight was part of a show promoted by T & K Boxing Promotions.
